I have the weirdest thoughts when it comes to this ship. I don’t want them to be together for now: I still think they need build-up, especially on Elena’s part. We know Damon’s madly in love with her but I really don’t get this vibe from Elena. Sure, she cares about him deeply. But love? We’re not there yet. And even when they do get together (which won’t happen for a long time, at least I hope) I’m not even sure I want them to be endgame because I kinda like Stefan/Elena and they make more sense to me. Plus, them being together would hurt Stefan and I don’t want that. SO YEAH CONFLICTED FEELINGS. BUT I love them together, I enjoy their scenes so much and Ian and Nina’s chemistry is undeniable. I can’t wait to see how they would work out as a couple and I want to see them make-out and have an occasionnal sweet and cheesy scene. See how conflicted I am? One minute I tell you I don’t want them to be together and the next I’m talling you I can’t wait to see it. Aaah, the things you do to me, ship.
